I did always love the album “Just a Few Old Memories”, which got a lot of play in our household back in the day. If you don’t know Hazel Dickens and the music she made, you should. She is considered “bluegrass”, but she transcends that label by the force of her rare and remarkable songwriting. Some singers I've grown to love by singing their songs myself, and Hazel Dickens is one of those.
